How to install the Testware Framework Manager

Overview¶

The Testware Framework Manager is a stand-alone Windows desktop application and will operate without any external installings, though with the following two exceptions...

The Visual Studio IDE is required for building and editing the produced source code and the Microsoft Expression Encoder is required when executing tests with video recording enabled.

Installations¶

Download & install Testware Framework Manager
Download & install Visual Studio 2019 Community
Download & install Microsoft Expression Encoder 4 SDK

License Registration¶

During the license registration, you need to send a license request by email with the Serial Number included for obtaining a valid License Key for the application.

Register a License

Launch the Testware Framework Manager application from the desktop...
From the menu bar open the Help -> About Framework Manager dialog...
Send a license request with the Serial Number by email to support@testware.dk...
Click on the Registration button and insert the received License Key into the dialog...
Press OK for inserting the license and closing the License Registration dialog...

The application has now been licensed and the Status Message will be updated...
